Valuable Scientific Legacy Donated to the College of Veterinary Medicine Library at the University of Basrah
The Deanship of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah received the scientific library of the late Prof. Dr. Salim Amin Hasso, Professor of Internal and Preventive Medicine, which was donated by his family to the College Library in memory of his academic career.
The library includes a collection of specialized books covering various fields of veterinary medicine, along with issues of international scientific journals, as well as master’s theses and doctoral dissertations that constitute valuable academic resources for the College’s students and researchers.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yassin Mustafa, praised the humanitarian initiative of the late professor’s family, commending its role in preserving his scientific legacy and keeping his contributions alive. He also expressed the College’s appreciation for this generous gesture, which reflects the enduring legacy of his distinguished academic service.
