University of Basrah President Meets Students and Staff Weekly to Address Their Requests
President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan, holds a weekly meeting with students and university staff every Monday at the Citizens’ Affairs Division, in the presence of Administrative Assistant to the University President Dr. Ayman Saleh Neama and the Deans of the Colleges of Arts and Administration and Economics.
The weekly meeting provides an opportunity to listen directly to the requests and concerns of students, faculty members, and staff and address them in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as part of the university’s efforts to strengthen direct communication and transparent administrative practices.
Dr. Al-Dahan emphasized that maintaining a regular presence at the Citizens’ Affairs Division aims to facilitate direct dialogue and enable university members to present their requests and address their issues without unnecessary administrative procedures.
For his part, Dr. Neama noted that the direct approach contributes to streamlining procedures and accelerating the handling of day-to-day issues raised by the university’s colleges through direct coordination among the relevant parties.
