University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Teaching Methods and Facilitation Strategies for Engineering Specializations
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a scientific lecture on teaching methods and facilitation strategies as part of Unit Five (Engineering Specialization) in the ninth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to enable trainees to understand the concept of the flipped classroom and its importance in developing the educational process, while enhancing skills for expressing opinions and effectively implementing this strategy within classrooms.
Presented by Dr. Oday Bashir Issa, the lecture covered the definition of facilitation strategies, the role of the teacher as a facilitator, and methods for stimulating student interaction. It also discussed potential challenges and highlighted the educational benefits of adopting this modern strategy.
