University of Basrah Conducts Admission Tests for the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences
The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basrah conducted admission tests for applicants seeking admission for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Dean of the College, Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, said the tests were conducted in the presence of members of the College Council and specialized committees formed from the college’s academic staff, with careful procedures in place to ensure fairness, transparency, and equal opportunities for all applicants.
He added that the tests covered physical, skills-based, and medical aspects to assess applicants’ abilities in line with the requirements of the college’s academic programs.
He emphasized that the college adopted competency- and merit-based criteria in selecting students best prepared to join the college and represent the University of Basrah.
