University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Teaching Ethics for Administrative Students
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture entitled "Teaching Ethics" as part of the sixth module of the ninth Teaching Methods course, specifically for administrative students.
The lecture aimed to build the capacity of university professors to understand ethical conduct and enhance their professional framework when dealing with uncertain situations and making decisions.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Munaf Abdul-Kadhim Mohammed, addressed the difference between ethics and morality, the professor's role in facilitating student learning, the adoption of blended learning methods and objective assessment, and the importance of avoiding bias.
The lecture included brainstorming activities, cooperative learning, and discussions, in addition to assigning participants concluding tasks related to the module.
