University of Basrah Participates in the Governorate's Environmental Protection and Improvement Council Meeting
Two faculty members from the Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah, Dr. Abdul Amir Rahim Jassim and Dr. Abbas Adel Hantoush, participated in the meeting of the Environmental Protection and Improvement Council, held at the Basra Governorate building.
The meeting reviewed and discussed a package of vital projects related to the water and environment sectors in the governorate. These projects were presented to the local government for official approval and ratification, paving the way for their implementation due to their strategic role in improving the environmental and water situation in the governorate.
