University of Basrah Streamlines Administrative Procedures via Weekly Citizens' Affairs Interviews
⠀
The University of Basrah continues to enforce a direct field-based approach to resolve administrative obstacles and process requests. Every Monday morning, the Citizens' Affairs Division hosts Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan, President of the University of Basrah, alongside Dr. Haider Khaz'al, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Ayman Saleh Na'mah, Vice President for Administrative Affairs.
⠀
These regular sessions aim to save time and effort for visiting students, faculty members, and staff by directly addressing pending files and issuing immediate directives to relevant departments, eliminating the delays associated with paper correspondence and traditional bureaucratic chains.
⠀
During this week's session, the University President highlighted that simplifying transactions and resolving administrative and academic matters remain top priorities in the strategy to improve the campus environment. He noted that listening directly to staff and students reinforces their trust in executive leadership and ensures fair outcomes in strict compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
