University of Basrah President Inaugurates New Student Affairs Building at College of Arts

Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan, President of the University of Basrah, inaugurated the new building for the Student Affairs and Registration Division at the College of Arts.

The University President stated that opening this facility aligns with the university's strategic roadmap to modernize infrastructure and upgrade administrative services. The project aims to foster an optimal working environment for staff while delivering enhanced services to students and streamlining registration, admission, and academic tracking procedures.

During his tour of the new premises, the University President commended the leadership and personnel of the College of Arts for successfully completing the project. He reaffirmed the university presidency's ongoing commitment to supporting all colleges and centers by upgrading facilities to accommodate growing student enrollment and meet digital transformation requirements.

For his part, Dr. Majid Abdul Hameed Al-Kaabi, Dean of the College of Arts, noted that the new facility will significantly optimize workflow, accelerate student transaction processing, relieve overcrowding, and provide a distinguished workspace reflective of the college's historic standing and dedicated staff.
