University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Student Discipline Regulations
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on student discipline regulations within the institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The workshop aimed to familiarize undergraduate students with the legal and administrative terminology and student discipline regulations of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, specifically Regulation No. 160 of 2007, as amended by Regulation No. 169 of 2018.
The workshop included the presentation of several research papers in which researchers discussed the most prominent rights and responsibilities of students, such as adhering to the regulations, instructions, and orders issued by the Ministry and its institutions, as well as refraining from harming religious beliefs, national unity, or national sentiments, avoiding incitement of sectarian or ethnic strife, and not damaging the reputation of the Ministry or state institutions.
