President of the University of Basrah Inspects Preparations for the 59th Central Graduation Ceremony at Basra International Stadium
As part of the ongoing preparations for the grand annual graduation ceremony, the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahhan, accompanied by members of the Central Committee for the Student Graduation Ceremony, conducted a field visit to the Basra International Stadium in the Sports City to closely examine the logistical and technical arrangements for the graduation of the 59th class, "Lions of Mesopotamia."
The visit included an extensive meeting at the venue, during which the tasks of the various committees were reviewed, and roles and responsibilities were discussed to ensure the highest levels of organization and excellence, befitting the name and long history of the University of Basrah.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Dahhan emphasized the need for concerted efforts and the mobilization of all available technical and logistical resources to present the ceremony in its most splendid form, reflecting the genuine joy of the graduates and their families. He noted that naming this class "Lions of Mesopotamia" carries significant national symbolism, making this event an academic and national epic that embodies the aspirations of the youth and the contributions of the academic staff.
For their part, the members of the Central Committee presented their detailed vision regarding the student procession, the organization of the main platform, and the entry procedures for graduates and guests, emphasizing the commitment of all staff to the approved organizational plan to ensure the smooth running and resounding success of the event.
