President of the University of Basrah Discusses the Status of Services in Student Dormitories with a Ministerial Committee
The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan, discussed with a ministerial committee assigned to conduct field evaluation and follow-up the status of services and facilities in the university’s student dormitories, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ayman Saleh Nima, and the Director of the Student Dormitories, Lecturer Muntather Juma Mahdi.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed mechanisms for enhancing the level of services and infrastructure in the student residential complexes, as well as monitoring their readiness to accommodate students and provide them with a suitable environment throughout the academic year.
Dr. Aqeel Al-Dahan stated that the university places the student dormitories among its top priorities, expressing its full readiness to support all projects and plans aimed at improving students’ living conditions and the quality of services provided to them.
For its part, the ministerial committee conducted a field tour of a number of student residential complexes to closely inspect rehabilitation and periodic maintenance works and identify their on-site needs.
