University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Quality Education for Engineering Students
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on quality education (Unit 7 for Engineering Students) as part of the ninth Teaching Methods course.
The lecture aimed to introduce participants to the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives, generally contributing to process improvement, exploring a range of solutions to problems, and testing them in a controllable manner.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Audai Basherer Issa, included a detailed explanation of quality concepts related to quality control and quality assurance, such as: the Pareto chart, SWOT analysis, the PDCA (Performance of Continuous Improvement) cycle, and ISO certification.
The lecture recommended the comprehensive application of quality in education through cause-and-effect analysis of all problems and the development of appropriate solutions.
