Master's Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines the Impact of Strategic Foresight on Banks' Financial Decisions
A master's thesis at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, examined the impact of strategic foresight on banks' financial decisions, using strategic resonance as a medium. The study was applied to a sample of managers from private banks in the southern region.
The thesis, submitted by student Mahmoud Shaker Nasser, aimed to demonstrate the role of strategic foresight in addressing imbalances in financial decisions, particularly those related to credit and investment.
It concluded that strategic foresight has an indirect positive impact on financial decisions through strategic resonance as a mediating variable.
The study recommended adopting an integrated foresight approach, linking its outputs to credit, liquidity, and risk management decisions, and strengthening the mechanisms of strategic resonance and dynamic adaptation.
