Organizes Workshop on Linguistic Accuracy and Proofreading
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology Gardens, organized a workshop for college staff entitled "Linguistic Accuracy and Proofreading: Common Errors in Official Documents."
The workshop aimed to improve administrative and linguistic performance and enhance staff skills in preparing official correspondence according to the rules of correct Arabic grammar.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Khaldoun Kadhim Hashim from the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas and Dr. Mushtaq Salem Abdul-Razzaq from the College of Arts, included a review of the most common linguistic errors and ways to correct them, along with interactive discussions and a question-and-answer session with participants, all aimed at enhancing the accuracy and quality of official correspondence.
