President of the University of Basrah Receives the French Cultural Attaché to Discuss Prospects for Scientific and Academic Cooperation
The President of the University of Basrah received a delegation from the French Cultural Attaché, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufeed Turki, and the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmad, to discuss ways to enhance scientific and academic cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting addressed several important scientific topics, most notably developing cooperation with the Colleges of Engineering and Agriculture, the challenges related to the water crisis, opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to study at French universities, and the exchange of scientific and research expertise to contribute to the development of the academic process and strengthen international partnerships.
This meeting comes within the framework of the University of Basrah's efforts to expand cooperation with international academic institutions and to engage with global scientific experiences in a way that benefits students and researchers and supports scientific research.
