University of Basrah Receives MP Jamal Ali Al-Issawi to Discuss Academic and Parliamentary Cooperation
Dr. Ayman Saleh Ni’ma, Assistant President of the University of Basrah for Administrative Affairs, received Jamal Ali Al-Issawi, a member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
The meeting addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between the legislative authority and academic institutions and to support the University of Basrah in fulfilling its scientific and community service mission.
Both sides also stressed the importance of ongoing coordination between members of the Council of Representatives and the university’s senior administration to mobilize parliamentary efforts in support of development and educational projects in the governorate.
For his part, MP Jamal Al-Issawi commended the University of Basrah’s significant efforts to advance academic standards and infrastructure. He affirmed his commitment to providing full support through Parliament and the relevant parliamentary committees in service of higher education in the governorate.
