University of Basrah Directs Student Housing Allocations in Residential Complexes

Muntadhar Jumaa Mahdi, Director of the Internal Dormitories Affairs Department at the University of Basrah, conducted an inspection field tour across residential complexes to monitor student housing procedures for the 2026–2027 academic year and oversee room allocation mechanisms.

During the tour, the Director reviewed the onboarding process and transaction completions, stressing strict adherence to approved ministry guidelines to ensure equitable distribution, operational efficiency, and rapid processing times.

He emphasized the need to resolve any obstacles facing students, streamline housing procedures, address student needs directly, and provide a safe and comfortable living environment that fosters academic focus and success.

Mahdi noted that the Internal Dormitories Affairs Department is proceeding with its plan to accommodate the maximum possible number of students, rehabilitate service facilities, and supply essential amenities in line with directives from the presidency of the University of Basrah to ensure student welfare.
