University of Basrah Participates in Workshop on the Research F1000 Platform
Dr. Audai Basheer Issa, Director of the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning at the University of Basrah, participated in a workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with Taylor & Francis on the use of the Research F1000 platform for scientific research.
The online workshop aimed to enhance scientific research at the University of Basrah, develop skills, introduce researchers to the latest tools for writing scientific research papers, and enable them to collaborate internationally to benefit from global research opportunities, programs, and innovation funding.
The Research F1000 platform is a distinguished model based on rapid publishing and open and transparent scientific peer review. It indexes research that meets the requirements of scientific peer review in Scopus and several other international databases, including PubMed and MEDLINE. The platform is ranked in the first quartile (Q1) according to Scopus.
