Dr. Khadija Sadiq Jaafar Al-Husseini, a faculty member at the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah, participated in the conference and exhibition, showcasing a patent related to food preservation.
Her participation included a patent titled "Using Edible Gelatin Films Reinforced with Magnesium Oxide Nanoscale in Preserving Chilled Fish Fillets," which utilizes nanotechnology to develop methods for preserving food and enhancing its safety and quality.
This achievement reflects the University of Basrah researchers' focus on applied scientific innovation and the development of sustainable technologies that contribute to supporting the food sector and improving the quality of food products.
