University of Basrah Holds a Workshop on Erasmus+ Funding for Research and Innovation
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education and the Department of Science and Technology Gardens, held a workshop entitled “Erasmus+ Funding for Research and Innovation in the European Union: Application Mechanisms and Opportunities Available to Iraqi Academic Institutions.”
The workshop aimed to introduce the Erasmus+ program, its operational mechanisms, and the most prominent funding opportunities it offers.
The workshop included lectures by Dr. Sadiq Jabbar Mohsen, Dr. Muhannad Abdul-Hussein Aboud, and Dr. Tariq Ibrahim Majeed, which addressed the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision for engaging Iraqi students and researchers in the program, internationalizing education, and developing scientific capabilities. The lectures also explained the registration and application procedures through the Erasmus+ platform.
