University of Basrah Organizes Awareness Workshop on Early Detection of Breast Cancer

The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basrah organized an awareness workshop titled "Early Detection of Breast Cancer," supervised by the Science and Technology Parks Department and in cooperation with Al-Thaqalain Oncology Center. The event aimed to promote health awareness regarding the importance of early detection and its vital role in increasing recovery rates.

The workshop addressed the significance of regular screenings, identified key signs and symptoms that necessitate medical consultation, and encouraged women to undergo required examinations while prioritizing preventative health.

This workshop forms part of the university's ongoing efforts to disseminate health education, solidify concepts of prevention, and foster community awareness, contributing to a better understanding of the risks associated with the disease and the importance of early diagnosis.
