Dr. Qasim Flayyih Hassan, a faculty member in the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, published a research paper in the "Journal of Semitic Studies," issued by Oxford University Press.

The research presents a comparative linguistic description of the dialects spoken by the Christians of Basrah, comparing them with the dialects of Mosul and Baghdad Christians, as well as the Arabic dialects in Anatolia.
