University of Basrah College of Medicine Holds Seminar on Diagnostic Challenges and Latest Practices in Pediatrics

The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, under the auspices of its Deanship and in cooperation with Acino Pharmaceutical Company, held a seminar titled "Pediatrics Under the Microscope," addressing diagnostic challenges and the transition toward evidence-based medical practice.

The seminar aimed to highlight scientific developments and clinical guidelines in diagnosing and managing diseases among children and adolescents, thereby contributing to enhancing medical knowledge and developing the efficiency of medical and teaching cadres.

The seminar included discussions on several clinical topics, such as diagnostic challenges in epilepsy cases, clinical guidelines for managing vasculitis, the importance of Vitamin D, and updates on managing hypertension in children and adolescents, alongside the role of antibiotic quality in improving clinical outcomes. The event featured an exchange of expertise and viewpoints regarding methods for handling medical conditions in accordance with the latest scientific evidence.
