Faculty Member at the University of Basrah Publishes a Scientific Paper in an International Journal
Ahmed Hameed Majeed, a faculty member in the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, published a scientific paper in the *Emerging Science Journal*, titled: “An Adaptive Intelligent Framework Based on the Internet of Things and Edge Computing for Real-Time Water Quality Monitoring and Predictive Control.”
The research discussed the increasing challenges facing Basra Governorate in the field of water quality, most notably the high and fluctuating salinity levels, temperature variations, turbidity, and the impact of environmental conditions, storage, and usage on water quality. This necessitates the development of modern methods for continuous and accurate water quality monitoring.
