Research Paper by Two Faculty Members from the University of Basrah was Published in a Prestigious International Journal
Ali Hussein Shaalan and Dr. Ahed Zuhair Hammoudi, faculty members in the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, published a research paper in the international journal *Journal of Engineering*, published by Wiley.
The research paper is titled: “A Study of the Flexural Performance of Hollow Reinforced Concrete Beams Made of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete and Reinforced with Steel Fibers, Using Low Reinforcement Ratio.”
The research discussed the flexural response of reinforced concrete beams made of lightweight aggregate concrete, containing an internal longitudinal cavity with a diameter of 75 mm, using low reinforcement ratios.
