University of Basrah Organizes Training Workshop on PCR Technology
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a training workshop for postgraduate students entitled "Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Technology: From Theoretical Fundamentals to Research Applications."
The workshop included a lecture presented by Dr. Rasha Munther Othman and Dr. Hassan Mohammed Jassim, providing a comprehensive understanding of the basic principles and practical steps of the reaction. Participants also received hands-on training in DNA amplification and its applications in genetic diagnostics and scientific research.
The workshop recommended increasing the number of practical workshops for postgraduate students before they begin their research.
