University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Workshop on the Bologna Process and Digital Transformation

The College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Development and Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah, organized a scientific workshop titled "The Bologna Process and Digital Transformation via the SIS System," aiming to familiarize teaching faculty with mechanisms for managing the educational process and electronic assessment according to the process requirements.

Presented by Dr. Ali Taha Yassin and faculty member Roa Nabeel Sadoon, the workshop reviewed the philosophy and academic objectives of the Bologna Process, student performance evaluation standards, and mark distribution mechanisms between continuous assessment and final examinations, as well as utilizing the Student Information System (SIS) to develop applied skills.

The workshop recommended intensifying practical training and enhancing digital awareness to ensure efficient implementation.
