University of Basrah Organizes a Course on Date Palm Propagation
The Date Palm Research Center and the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah organized a training course entitled "Date Palm Propagation Using Tissue Culture Technology," in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education.
The course aimed to introduce the scientific principles and practical applications of tissue culture technology in date palm propagation and to develop the research and applied skills of the participants.
The course included theoretical lectures delivered by faculty members from the Department of Life Sciences, followed by practical training sessions conducted by specialists from the Date Palm Research Center. These sessions covered the stages of tissue culture propagation and the laboratory equipment and techniques used.
