President of Basrah University receives a delegation from Ahwaz Chamber of Commerce

President of Basrah University, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, received Ms. Shahla Abdul Hussein Amouri, Vice President of  Ahwaz Chamber of Commerce in Islamic Republic of Iran, and her accompanying delegation of doctors and engineers, in the presence of his assistant for scientific affairs and directors of some departments at the university.

The visit aimed to expand the frameworks of cooperation between the two parties in the scientific and economic fields and to benefit from the research expertise of University of Basrah.

The attendees discussed working to enhance the partnership between the public and private sectors in common areas to serve the community.

It is noteworthy that the visiting delegation will hold a number of meetings with officials in other government institutions in the coming days.
