The thesis included a study on the preparation of graphene oxide with melamine formaldehyde polymer to improve the surface and porous properties of the polymer and its application in treating oil pollution. The resulting compounds were diagnosed using techniques. Magnetic nano-iron oxide was also prepared by the co-precipitation method of iron (II) and iron (III) and showed superior magnetic properties.
