A PhD thesis at University of Basrah seeks to design and analyze some mathematical models to study Covid-19 in Iraq
A PhD thesis at College of Science at University of Basrah was researched under the title "Design and Analysis of Some Mathematical Models to Study Covid-19 Virus in Iraq Using Real Data".
The thesis of the student Wasan Ibrahim Khalil aimed to study the impact and spread of Corona virus in Iraq, by designing two mathematical models by estimating biological parameters using real data.
The thesis dealt with reformulating the two systems in the fractional form and studying them. To obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the behavior of the Corona pandemic in Iraq, the method of calculating the reproduction number was used to reach the basic result of reducing the disease and even eliminating it completely. In order to reduce the daily infection of Corona virus in Iraq, two models were designed with a control variable, which is the vaccine, with a cost function using Pontrigon principles by setting time scale algorithms to give an effective plan for optimal vaccination.
