University of Basrah holds a meeting to explore job opportunities and cooperation
The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Center at the University of Basra held a meeting in cooperation with Wood Group entitled "Exploring Job Opportunities and Cooperation" in the presence of University President's Assistant for Academic Affairs Dr. Ali Hussein Rashk, the company's Iraq branch manager Mr. Osama Lazem, and a large number of graduates from various disciplines, including engineering, administration and finance.
The meeting aimed to open new horizons for university graduates by providing distinguished job opportunities in various fields, the most important of which is the 2024 Graduate Employment Program and summer training for third-year students.
Dr. Ali Hussein Rashk confirmed that the meeting resulted in strengthening ties between the University of Basra and Wood Group, as it was agreed to organize future workshops and training programs for graduates, which reflects the University of Basra's commitment to supporting its graduates and providing them with the best opportunities, which enhances its position as one of the leading educational institutions in Iraq.
Director of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Center, Dr. Enas Abdel Aziz Al Nasser, praised the constructive cooperation with Wood Company and the importance of continuing such initiatives that contribute to supporting graduates and enabling them to enter the labor market with high skills and competencies. She recommended the necessity for graduates to follow up on such opportunities and participate in training programs that will be announced soon. She also called on all graduates to benefit from the center's services that aim to qualify and employ them in the best companies and institutions.
