University of Basrah organizes a symposium on domestic violence
 College of Dentistry at  University of Basrah organized an electronic symposium entitled Domestic Violence.

The symposium aims to explain and demonstrate the importance of family law and how to benefit from it in addressing negative phenomena in domestic violence according to the Penal Code.

The symposium, which was lectured by a group of professors from the College of Education and Community Police, included the topic of domestic violence and its causes, in addition to appropriate solutions to get rid of this phenomenon that has recently spread in society.

The symposium recommended the necessity of holding symposia to identify violence and its effects on society and the family, and to explain ways to eliminate its effects, limit its spread, and ways to deal with it according to the law and Islamic law.
