University of Basrah holds its regular council session and takes a number of important decisions

University of Basrah held the twelfth open session of its regular council for the academic year 2023-2024 at  College of Engineering, headed by Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, in the presence of his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs and the rest of the university council members.

The council witnessed the discussion of many matters related to the scientific and administrative aspects of the university and listed on its agenda, and the implementation of ministerial directives and decisions of the Opinion Authority was emphasized.

The council discussed the topics of the consulting offices of research centers and colleges and the boards of directors of previous and current research centers, as well as the implementation of the strategy and plans set by the university for a promising educational future according to the latest international standards.
