College of Law at University of Basrah organized a lecture on the mechanism for choosing a legal research topic.
The lecture aimed to train graduate students who have completed the preparatory stage and moved to the stage of writing the thesis or dissertation on scientific mechanisms according to the methodological foundations for choosing the topic of the thesis or dissertation, especially since graduate students, especially in the master's stages, face difficulties and challenges in choosing the legal problem.
The lecture, which was given by the lecturer at College of Law, Dr. Ali Abdul-Ali Al-Asadi, included a statement that the thesis or dissertation is valid for scientific research that qualifies for obtaining the certificate and scientific degree that the researcher aspires to obtain, and in a way that contributes to solving a legal problem at the level of Iraqi legislation or a social, economic, financial or scientific problem by finding legal regulation for it.
