The thesis, presented by student Zainab Abdul Zahra Abdul Rasool, aims to study earthquakes, which are catastrophic phenomena that cause casualties, injuries, and severe damage to buildings.
The thesis concluded that the effectiveness of traditional basic elements in energy-reducing structures is very limited and may not be able to dissipate large amounts of seismic energy.
