A PhD thesis at College of Science at University of Basrah examined (the histological effect of dietary capsaicin and metformin on experimentally induced ovarian cysts in female rats).
The thesis of researcher Alia Mohammed Khader aimed to identify the importance of capsaicin as a natural compound in the treatment of ovarian cysts.
She concluded the importance of capsaicin in improving the histological structure of ovarian cysts as well as in reducing weight, using different doses of capsaicin in the treatment of ovarian cysts and studying the tissue immunity of the effect of this compound.
