A PhD thesis at University of Basrah discusses improving the order of approximation using Bernstein-type operators
The PhD thesis at College of Science at University of Basrah was titled Improving the order of approximation using Bernstein-type operators
The thesis presented by the student Thaer Hatem Qasim aims to provide an improvement to the order of approximation by modifying the sequence of the classical Bernstein operator (the sequence of the Bernstein-Kontrovish operator, the sequence of the summation-integration operator of the Bernstein type, the sequence of the Bernstein-Schürer-Stanko operator, the sequence of the Bernstein-Kontrovish-Schürer-Stanko operator, the sequence of the summation-integration-Schürer-Stanko operator of the Bernstein type).
The thesis included four chapters containing an introduction to the topic and previous works, as well as an explanation of the generalization as an improvement to the order of approximation through the sequence of Bernstein operators of the summation and integration type by increasing the number of parameters used in the optimization.
