As part of Basrah University’s plans for human development.. The university organizes a course for agriculture graduates.
College of Agriculture at University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Youth Quality Champions Program, which supported by the International Trade Center (ITC) and the European Union, organized a training course for College of Agriculture graduates.
The course aimed to enhance the capabilities of Iraqi youths, enable them to acquire advanced skills and become leaders in improving quality in various sectors.
The course, which was lectured by human resources’ trainers, Wasan Bahir and Yaseen Luqman, included advanced lectures on "Lean" tools and quality management using the "Six Sigma" methodology, which contributes to support the Iraqi agricultural sector, small and medium companies to improve efficiency and reduce operations waste.
Participants will begin the practical phase soon, where they will apply these tools practically in their projects to improve quality in various fields.
