University of Basrah organizes a course on dealing with laboratory animals
College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Basrah organized a training course on dealing with laboratory animals, methods of drawing blood, anatomy, and fixing samples.
The course aimed to explain the importance of laboratory animals in experiments and methods of fixing samples, in addition to identifying the most important errors that occur during the fixation process.
The course, which was lectured by a number of college instructors, included explaining the importance of dealing with laboratory animals and drawing blood in different ways, especially from eyes and heart, due to their importance for researchers laboratory experiments, and how to preserve organs in different ways for the purpose of histological studies and disease diagnosis.
