University of Basrah receives Al-Safa international standards School.
The Central Library General Secretariat at the University of Basrah received a delegation from Al-Safa international standards primary school, which included a group of distinguished students and school staff.
Regarding the visit, the Central Library general secretary, Dr. Eman Shamkhi Jabir, said, "The visit aimed to inform the students and accompanying staff about the library's facilities, vital departments, its establishment circumstances , the history of its emergence, and the valuable and precious books it contains, which represent an important cognitive legacy in Iraqi civilization, and how this ancient library contributed to educating the individual and Iraqi society, and the indispensable services the library provides to undergraduate and graduate students, researchers of science and knowledge from various Iraqi universities, in addition to books, sources, magazines and scientific references, whether paper or electronic."
