College of Marine Sciences at University of Basrah organized a scientific trip to Basrah Sewerage Directorate/Hamdan Treatment Plant.
The trip aimed to learn about the primary treatment unit for sewerage in Basrah and to explain the stages of filtration and sedimentation of sewerage and reduce its pollutant content according to the possibility of the station's operation before it is discharged into water bodies and to benefit from the humic substance obtained after completing all stages of filtration.
