A master thesis at University of Basrah examines the effect of applying different lighting programs for broilers.
A master's thesis at College of Marine Sciences at University of Basrah examined the effect of applying different lighting programs on some productive and physiological traits of broilers.
The thesis submitted by the student Nabaa Ali Hamad aimed to compare continuous lighting systems with intermittent ones, and to know their effect on the productive and physiological performance of broilers.
The thesis included a set of parameters distributed on continuous and intermittent lighting and their effect on weight, weight gain, feed conversion efficiency, weight of pieces, and physiological and immune traits.
The thesis concluded that the use of intermittent lighting has a significant effect in improving the feed conversion factor, vital ratio, and economic index scale.
