Two lecturers at University of Basrah participate in a course on harvest management and reducing losses.
Lecturers, Dr. Kareem Hanoon Mohsin and Dr. Rawafid Hadi Al-Obaidi participated in the functional training course at College of Agriculture at University of Basrah entitled (Harvest Process Management and Reducing Losses) which was organized by the Guidance and Training Center in Basrah Governorate.
The participation included two lectures, the first by Professor Dr. Kareem Hanoon entitled Stages of the Agricultural Production Process and the Reasons for Losses in the Crop During Production and at harvest, the second by Dr. Rawafid Hadi entitled Ways to Reduce Losses in the Crop at Harvest.
The course aimed to prepare a guidance program to spread the seeds of strategic crops that are tolerant to salinity and drought using modern irrigation methods.
