A lecturer at University of Basrah participates in the electronic symposium on special needs.
Dr. Fadia Yaqoub Yousif, a lecturer at College of Education for Girls at University of Basrah, participated in the international scientific symposium on "Women with Disabilities and the Motherhood Right"
The participation included presenting a research paper entitled "The Right of Women with Disabilities to Marital Life (A Historical Study)”
The research aimed to clarify the right of women with disabilities to marriage, childbirth and family life with the aim of building a better future. It is a legitimate right that our religion urges to build a family and achieve stability, regardless of the societal view, customs and traditions related to marriage, family and relationships that prevent this.
