Basrah University president inaugurates Al-Zahraa Hall ( peace be upon her) after its rehabilitation
The president of University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, inaugurated Al-Zahraa Hall (peace be upon her) in the College of Medicine after its rehabilitation.
During the opening the president of the university stated that the university seeks to develop the infrastructure in all aspects of the university, especially classrooms and scientific laboratories, in order to provide a suitable environment that is compatible with the scientific development in the international universities, including the use of modern technology in teaching.
Dean of the college, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, indicated that the college used modern, non-flammable materials, with high quality specifications and compliance with safety requirements. It was also equipped with modern devices to suit the number of students and to hold conferences and seminars organized by the college.
The ceremony concluded with honoring the president of the university with the (Creativity) Shield, presented by the dean in appreciation of his great efforts in supporting construction projects in the college.
