The thesis presented by the student Khairiya Dawood Salman aimed to identify cognitive distortions among female secondary school students.
The thesis included adopting a scale of cognitive distortions and building a guidance program according to the value awareness technique with (16) guidance sessions.
The thesis recommended the need for the Educational Guidance Division in the governorates' education directorates to contribute to hold qualifying courses for educational counselors to learn about the value awareness technique in modifying cognitive distortions.
