Instructor at the University of Basrah Publishes Research in a Global Journal
Dr. Hussein Nasser Khalaf, an instructor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, published a research paper titled "Electrochemical Study of Dopamine and Hydroquinone Using the Nanocomposite (Pd@Au-PANI)" in the Iranian journal Nanomed, which is ranked in the third quartile of the Scopus database.
The research aimed to estimate the electrochemical properties of dopamine using a nanocomposite made of palladium, gold, and PANI. This composite is utilised for drug delivery to cells and living tissues in the targeted tissue.
The study included the preparation of nanocomposite materials made from palladium, gold, and PANI through oxidative polymerisation and hydrothermal methods using ammonium sulphate.
