A Lecturer at the University of Basrah Participates in a Workshop on Scopus and Iraqi Journals Standards
Dr. Amer Nima Al-Daghman, a lecturer at the Polymer Research Center at the University of Basrah, participated in managing and presenting the electronic workshop organized by the Ambassador Foundation for Scientific Research.
The workshop aims to implement the joint program between the Elsevier Organization for Scientific Research and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to include academic journals of Iraqi universities in the system of Scopus.
The workshop dealt with comparing the publishing standards in journals that have obtained the container and classification (Scopus) and the standards of journals of Iraqi universities, and understanding Scopus standards in the context of publishing and reading and how to search for the topic according to journals and using the quadrants for filtering and refining.
