Assistant President of Basrah University Monitors Graduate Students' Discussions
Dr. Ali Hussein Rishak, the Assistant President of Basra University for Scientific Affairs, monitored the discussions of graduate students in various colleges.
He attended the defence of PhD student Assad Hasan Khalaf Zayer from the College of Arts, whose thesis is titled "Iraq's Regional Relations in the Context of Water Policy: Turkey-Syria-Iran 1921-1980." He emphasised his support for researchers in their pursuit of higher degrees and in enhancing their scientific and cultural knowledge.
Rishak added that one of the goals of Basrah University is to prepare a cultured generation equipped with knowledge, relying on it as a foundation for bringing about fundamental changes while keeping scientific knowledge and analytical thinking at the forefront. Additionally, the university works to meet the country's needs for specialists across all branches of knowledge.
